Former Jets LB Retires
The ex-Jets linebacker David Harris retires after his 11 season career. Harris was drafted out of Michigan (like Tom Brady) by (then Jets coach) Eric Mangini in the second round of the 2007 draft. he played with the Jets from 2007-2016 and played his 2017 season with the Patriots.
He stated: "After 11 years of of having played the greatest team sport at its highest level, it's time for me to announce my retirement from the NFL". Harris wrote that statement and it was released by Sportstars.
